The SCE-VET project promotes Social Circular Economy principles in vocational education, addressing six key needs: environmental awareness, inclusion, labor market alignment, innovation, engaging learning practices, and job potential. These needs align with eight objectives: 1. Mapping SCE strategies enhances environmental awareness and aligns VET with market needs. 2. Social Circularity Day promotes inclusion through networking and sharing best practices. 3. Investigating SCE integration ensures VET adapts to market needs and job creation. 4. Monitoring student attitudes encourages innovation and engaging learning. 5. Creating a MOOC provides flexible, user-friendly resources. 6. An Online SCE Platform fosters collaboration and accessible tools. 7. The SCE-VET Method Canvas equips educators with innovative strategies. 8. Dissemination ensures inclusive, accessible project outcomes. Through these objectives, SCE-VET builds a more inclusive, innovative, and environmentally responsible educational framework, preparing students for future job markets across the EU.
The SCE-VET project aimed to address six core needs linked to VET priorities: adapting to labor market demands, fostering innovation, and addressing environmental challenges. Focused on embedding Social Circular Economy (SCE) principles, the project promoted sustainability, inclusion, and entrepreneurship, equipping educators, students, and enterprises with green skills, circular economy and social entrepreneurship models aligned with the European Green Deal. Through resources like the SCE-VET Method Canvas, a MOOC, and Social and Circularity Day event concept, SCE-VET fostered cross-sector collaboration and empowered VET institutions to lead change. The project’s outputs, including new courses, practical tools, and a networking platform, bridge education with market needs, preparing students for a green economy and contributing to a sustainable, socially conscious workforce.
