The objectives of this project were: 1. To experiment and acquire an interactive and innovative personal development methodology through participation in an experiential seminar "The Hero’s Journey". This methodology comes from the "Hero’s Journey" developed by P.Rebillot for the development of the following skills: motivation, communication, self-discovery, development of his spirit of initiative. 2. Adapt this methodology locally to our workshops "The Word to Stories", and to a lesser extent to our workshops "Groups of Professional Words". 3. Disseminate the concept of the "Hero’s Journey" as a global educational tool.
L'Arbre à Histoires works on the theme of storytelling and education. Within the framework of adult education we organize local groups of professional words (exchanges of practices) and workshops of expression through tales. Within the framework of this project our association wishes to apply the philosophy and methods inherent in the "Hero’s Journey", a personal development methodology created by Paul Rébillot, director and therapist Gestalt. This methodology is appropriate to our association’s goal of promoting storytelling and myth as a global educational tool. In addition, we realized the limits of our workshops around the word, especially for learners who need to clarify and/or bring out their life and/or professional project.
