Objectives

Our objectives in carrying out Erasmus projects within our school can be divided into two axes: 1) As regards the students: - consolidate their feeling of belonging to a European network while strengthening empathy towards other European citizens - develop their cultural openness - broaden their professional culture and skills - to amplify their autonomy and their personal and professional versatility - better meet their future employers’expectations - to better understand the cultural and linguistic context in the host countries. 2) As regard the staff: - compare working methods to be more innovative - increase our chances in the medium term of being able to open a European section - encourage our colleagues in professional field to take their certification in foreign languages - develop co-teaching between general and vocational field to meet the expectations of the Transformation of the Professional Teaching.

Background

Project 2021-1-FR01-KA122-VET-000016153 was one of the essential tools for developing the implementation of Erasmus projects in our school. This is an ambitious project that marks the current and future evolution of our school. Indeed, Opening up to the international level has become an essential axis of the establishment project and is in line with the expectations of the Transformation of the Professional Teaching in which mobility is an asset for obtaining the vocational baccalaureate and integration into the active life for our students. Following this observation, our role is to support and provide tools to students by giving them the opportunity to go abroad to enrich their professional and cultural experiences in order to ensure better professional integration in the years to come..We plan to make the Erasmus project a springboard in our school to on the one hand make our students mobile and multitask citizens and, on the other hand, allow our teachers to exchange and harmonize their professional practices with European counterparts.
