Objectives

Each European mobility programme undertaken by a French resident, for us vocational training trainees, offers added value to their career path. It is an undeniable and vital contribution for people to come into contact with a new culture, a fresh perspective and different issues. Through this project, Crefad Loire has offered short breaks for mobility to enable all the people who had thought of such a project in 2022 to access it. However, two factors disrupted the distribution of mobility grants between the time the project was accepted and its completion: - The fact that the business creation project manager was not replaced (October 2021) due to the reform of vocational training. - The health crisis forced us to postpone the end date of the 2020 project (to December 2022), which mathematically delayed the implementation of the 2021 project by 18 months, resulting in a certain rush to encourage trainees who had been preparing to leave for a year and a lack of preparation for some.

Background

Crefad Loire is a popular education association that aims to empower individuals. The association is also a Qualiopi-certified vocational training organisation, which offers training courses leading to professional qualifications (as part of vocational training). We welcome people with projects as part of our business creation training courses, and the opportunity represented by a work placement in Europe is very popular, as it enables trainees to try out a business, develop a network or improve their foreign language skills. That's why, with 9 years' experience of sending vocational training trainees on placements in Europe lasting from two to twelve weeks, we applied to this project to send 30 people on placements. The health crisis postponed the desire for mobility until 2022/2023 and we managed to send 32 people over 6 months (January-June 2023).
