The application presented by the CFA Louis Prioux, aimed to offer 15 one-month internships in English-speaking companies for apprentices preparing for the BP or the “commerce” baccalaureate; 10 one-week mobilities in a Finnish VET for apprentices in the 1st year of BP or 2nd year of CAP; 5 observation internships of 6 days in the Hungarian partner high school for teachers, accompanied by an administrative manager. Two objectives to be achieved were specified in our application: on the one hand, to develop the linguistic and transversal skills of apprentices and to open them up to mobility; on the other hand, to make our teachers aware of different professional training systems and innovative teaching practices.
The learners targeted by this mobility project are apprentices between the ages of 18 and 30 and following professional training at level 4 or 5 in the following fields: cooking, restaurant, pastry, trade, bakery. Our CFA has been welcoming apprentices from other European countries for a long time, in particular with a view to encouraging mobility among national apprentices, 90% of whom come from rural areas and have no experience of mobility, including national or even regional level. In our application, the teachers of the “Food trades” sections, as well as a member of the administrative staff are also targeted.
