Objectives

We set three objectives when writing the project: - KEY COMPETENCES LINKED TO MOBILITY: improvement of key competences among students and the school team, promotion of mobility with an emphasis on validating skills upon return from mobility, with the teaching team in order to increase skills and arousing interest in the EU dimension; integration of a linguistic and cultural preparatory module in the educational program for PRO courses in addition to DNL classes. - INCLUSION because 50% of students represent learners with fewer opportunities. We wanted to OPEN and above all FACILITATE the mobility opportunity for everyone. Flow 1 (Nov-Dec '22) out of 13 students - 6 state scholarship holders; Flow 2 (May-June '23) out of 17 students - 6 state scholarship holders. Mobility gave them a unique opportunity to get out of their context and travel abroad. This professional experience will have a significant positive impact on their CV, their life, on their perception as citizens, by opening up a vision towards new personal and professional opportunities. INTERNATIONAL OPENNESS: for our school it is essential to emphasize EU mobility and be able to raise awareness of EU citizenship

Background

The Jean Lurçat polyvalent high school submitted the LURCAT MOB LEARNING (LML) individual project in May 2021 following its experience in the CoProMob+ project with the Consortium of polyvalent high schools of the Pyrénées Orientales. This choice is based on the fact that the mobility accomplished within the framework of this last project has brought quite positive results, with an opening on the European dimension within the teaching and administrative teams, as well as among the students of the professional sections. There followed a choice to broaden and enlarge the spectrum of this activity for the professional section of the school. The experience acquired during previous mobility helped us to establish a gantt, find the host partner and define an individual mobility execution plan without constraints of the diversity of the periods of professional internships in other high schools. The sectors chosen: Seconds of the BAC PRO in: Multimedia visual communication, Reception services, Sales and Retail Shop professions |EQF 3 -4| who train young people aged 16-19. These four sections represented a total of 120 young people in 2020.
