Background

The mobility project “PRIMERA” was implemented as part of the training courses offered by INSUP, a non-profit training organisation, to its learners. The organisation provides training courses in career guidance, job search, vocational qualifications, refresher courses and skills upgrading, with the aim of promoting the personal development of young and adult learners while enhancing their professional skills and employability. Since 1998 and in addition to its traditional training courses, INSUP has been offering trainees on courses funded by the regional training scheme (in languages, tourism, leisure activities, etc.), participants in (re)mobilisation courses for recent graduates and experienced adult jobseekers, or learners on inclusive courses like Sésame or Détours Créatifs, etc., the opportunity to undertake a work placement in a European company. The financial support provided by the Erasmus grant is an outstanding added value to support people's individual and professional projects. As part of the PRIMERA 2021-2023 project, 21 beneficiaries, including 3 staff members have taken part in mobility schemes lasting from 1 to 26 weeks, i.e. a total of 287 weeks of life and work experience abroad.
