We have been organising work experience placements for a number of years as part of our internationally-focused courses. The courses targeted are mainly the HND in Tourism and Management Support. After a sharp drop in requests for work placements following the COVID pandemic, we wanted to relaunch work placement mobility, particularly in our tourism courses. Many of our students choose a 'study abroad' option as part of their training, and a work experience placement is an excellent way of enhancing the value of their diploma and their human and civic qualities. We also wanted to relaunch staff mobility (training). We had requested a total of 13 mobility schemes. From a strategic point of view, we wanted to offer greater visibility and communicate more widely within our school community to reach students who are far removed from work placement mobility (BTS Esthétique and Santé Social). The implementation of the planned mobility programmes should lead to an increase in the number of students going on mobility over the next few years.
