The promotion and implementation of individual mobility is an institutional priority. Through this project, the University of Bordeaux Montaigne wishes to encourage the mobility of its students and staff. As far as student mobility is concerned, the strategies take three main forms: "classic" exchange programs consisting of exchanging students for one or two semesters between partner institutions; international internships, which are essential for the validation of the curriculum; and training courses leading to the awarding of a double degree or joint degree. As far as staff mobility is concerned, the emphasis is on exchanges of good disciplinary and interdisciplinary practices (digital and linguistic) as well as on teaching mobility. The experiences of the last few years have clearly demonstrated that these actors (administrative and teaching staff) have a leverage effect on student mobility and play an important role in promoting the university internationally and in the evolution of teaching and training practices.
