Objectives

The Regional Institute of Social and Nursing education Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes of the French Red Cross (IRFSS AURA) trains skilled professionals in a dynamic process of sustainable and appropriate professional integration. The French Red Cross international dimension is intimately linked to its history and rooted in its founding principles. IRFSS AuRA has a regional presence with 5 training sites in Lyon, Moulins, Saint-Étienne, Valence and Grenoble. In 2023, we delivered state diplomas to : - 398 nursing students - 30 social service assistant students - 213 nursing assistant students - 57 student nursery assistants (2022) - learners on other short and/or professional training courses, for which the duration or type of training unfortunately does not allow us to set up Erasmus + mobility schemes (educational and social support, family assistant, ambulance driver, stretcher-bearer, etc.). One of IRFSS AuRA's top priorities is to encourage international mobility, both for learners and employees, and to develop a policy of welcoming European and international learners by creating partnerships with universities and the professional world.
