INSA Strasbourg is a public engineering and architecture graduate school under the authority of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research. It is part of a group of 7 institutes in France and, together with its partner schools, forms the leading network of public engineering grandes écoles in France. INSA Strasbourg is home to around 2,000 students in the heart of Europe's capital. Since 2003, in order to obtain their engineering and architecture diplomas, the school has required all its students to undertake a minimum of three months' international mobility through a work placement and/or a study period. For the start of the 2022 academic year, this period has been extended to 17 weeks. This project is part of this policy, which is resolutely focused on the international arena, particularly European and cross-border relations, given that requests for mobility in Europe are on the increase. In 2019, the INSA Group, of which the school is a member, became a member of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) and is actively involved in setting up new innovative teaching formats.
