From the launch of the Erasmus program at Sciences Po Bordeaux and its implementation through the launch of the compulsory 2nd-year abroad, student mobility has become the key action of the institution’s international policy. Our partnerships have also allowed for additional staff mobilities. Our objectives have long been the expansion and enrichment of these mobilities, with students as the main beneficiaries of the action: SPB now has more than 160 international partners with more than 600 places designated for student mobility annually. This policy of internationalization naturally extends to our hosting of participants from our partner universities: Each year about 230 students, mainly in the 2nd year, decide to do an Erasmus+ mobility, and SPB welcomes the same number of international students at the Bachelor and Master levels. Lastly, following the announcement of the new Erasmus+ priorities of inclusion, digital transformation, fight against climate change and participation to democratic life, SPB chose to make all necessary efforts to implement these priorities from the start of the 2021/22 academic year.
