Ensaama (National School of Fine Crafts and Design) has a student population of nearly 1000, from undergraduates to post-graduates. The college offers its students a wide range of programmes in design and contemporary crafts.Today, we prone cross-disciplinary courses so that our students become acquainted with all fields of design, in France and abroad, throughout their studies. The activities related to international relations -staff mobility for teaching, staff mobility for training, student mobility for training, as well as workshops- have debeloped and become a driving force of our school project. The project has various aims: cultural, linguistic, professional for our students. It also contributes to training, giving a rich experience, and opening our staff to new educational practices as well as modernizing our institution. From a linguistic and cultural point of view, mobility abroad is an unparalleled experience. This unique experience enables students to open themselves, develop contacts and increase job opportunities. In a competitive international context both in terms of job market and education in the design field, programmes should be built on a European or international scale for the sake of knowledge and openness.
