Since its creation, UTC has given high importance to international collaborations. In June 2019, UTC voted on an ambitious international strategy to internationalize its curricula, and train engineers capable of acting in an international and multicultural context. As such, its rules of study stipulate systematic mobility abroad as one condition for obtaining the engineering diploma, following the requirements of the commission for engineering titles. UTC is also working to increase the number of incoming exchange students. Since most of our mobility and cooperation occurs in Europe, the Erasmus+ project is essential for our mobility, which constantly increased before the Covid pandemic. The gradual return to normal in 2021 after the disruptions caused by the pandemic, while many destinations outside Europe were still closed, prompted the UTC to request far more mobility for the Erasmus+2021 project than for the previous one: 423 mobility (360 stays, 60 internships, 2 teaching mobility, and 1 training mobility) compared to the 342 mobility requested under the Erasmus+ 2020 project (280 stays, 60 internships, 1 teaching, 1 training).
