Objectives

Creating and implementing top-quality international mobility opportunities for each and every one of our students is a top priority for ESIEA Graduate School of Engineering. The Erasmus+ program represents both the foundation of all our efforts towards internationalization and our springboard towards future initiatives. Delivering a 5-year degree equivalent to a Master of Science and 1,800 students on two campuses (Paris and Laval, France), ESIEA's board of directors decided to make an international study semester mandatory as a requirement of the ESIEA engineering degree starting August 2021. To meet this objective, we had to create upwards of 300 semesters of pertinent academic content with our international partners. Without unflagging active and enthusiastic participation in the Erasmus+ program it would not have been possible for us to extend our network to meet this goal. The student mobilities visible in this report (42) represent the tip of the iceberg: for the academic year 2022-23, 190 of the 525 international mobilities organized by our institution took place with our European partners. Over half a million euros were invested by the school in negotiated tuition fees with our partners to make this happen.
