Objectives

The University of Burgundy (uB) is convinced that a life experience abroad is a decisive factor in the development of participants' higher education careers, and its ambition is to enable as many of its students as possible, particularly those from less privileged backgrounds, to spend at least one semester at a partner university or company in Europe, by exploiting the possibilities offered by the new Erasmus + program. In this respect, the main objective has been to set up the new program, for all publics, with all possible financing in a cumulative way: supplementary inclusions, eco-responsible travel, with the hope of a return to normal after the health crisis which has had a major impact on international activity. A similar ambition applies to the professional growth, development and enrichment of our both teaching and non-teaching staff, who are encouraged to take part in training or teaching assignments. In addition, as a member of the FORTHEM European University Alliance since 2019, uB uses the KA131 programme to massively develop mobility within the alliance.
