Objectives

Since 2003, Jean Moulin High School has been pursuing a policy of international development in both secondary and higher education. The BTS in Tourism trains senior technicians capable of working in the sector as soon as they graduate. The practice of languages in hospitality situations is at the heart of the training, and the ERASMUS+ project is an essential tool for the acquisition of professional and linguistic skills. Partnerships are established on the basis of the objectives set out in the new BTS reference framework, which proposes training in blocks of skills. In our course, the focus is on English, followed by Spanish and Italian, and German if necessary. We have students from different backgrounds and regions with specific language skills. The target companies are hotel chains, incoming agencies, tourist sites (museums, equestrian centres, etc.) and sports and leisure activities. The Erasmus project is an opportunity to develop activities during workshops on the following themes: Customer groups with special needs in tourism, digital technology to improve customer satisfaction, sustainable tourism and the development of eco-citizen behaviour among our students.
