Objectives

This project was fully in line with the University of Franche-Comté's (uFC) strategy of establishing a European presence, providing quality for mobility and welcoming students. The university's aim was to encourage "successful" mobility, i.e. one that is prepared, validated, recognized and valued. Beyond this, the uFC has set itself the ambition of organizing more responsible and inclusive mobility, helped by the new "green transport" and "inclusion support" tools, which echo its values. Moreover, the uFC was keen to develop staff mobility, with several objectives: to involve them in international development and new projects, including the STARS EU alliance; to develop their skills and new teaching practices; to modernize the range of courses on offer; to strengthen their European identity, etc. In general, this project was the main tool for relaunching mobility after the Covid pandemic. Finally, the uFC aimed to intensify its internationalization by strengthening existing partnerships, developing new cooperations to meet students' needs (English courses, short mobility programs, including BIP) and continuing to set up internationalized training programs (double degrees).
