In 2016, a policy to reinforce the international relations and develop the university internationalisation was established within the framework of the UTBM “Synergy” project. This policy is largely deployed via the biannual Internationalisation Committee. The following objectives are a priority regarding its execution: -Preparing the students for an international career by means of the internationalisation of their university experience as well as an international mobility of at least 18 weeks. The quality of both incoming and outgoing mobilities is a point of focus to ensure the coherence and complementarity of each Learning Agreement to the students’ studies, and also the deployment of inclusivity measures. -The reestablishment of all the pre-Covid destinations for mobilities through face-to-face contact with our partners, typically during international conferences and exhibitions, visits and hosting of partners, pursuing communication activities related to Erasmus+ and through our leading annual events. -Increasing the number of staff participating in mobilities which contributes to improving our internationalisation activity. -Continue the implementation of EWP and to get maximum benefit from the new tools available.
