Université Paris Nanterre (UPN) receives around 34,000 students and employs 2,200 staff. As an Erasmus charter holder since 1999, the UPN aims to increase the internationalisation of education and research by promoting student and staff mobility, particularly in the context of double degrees. It's an objective written into its contract with its ministry. This policy is reflected in a steady increase in the number of partner universities and agreements under the Erasmus+ programme. Europe is a major focus for our university, as demonstrated by our participation in the EDUC alliance (winner of the European Universities programme). To this end, UPN is making the most of the many opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme, with a view to creating synergies (between Erasmus+ actions and with other local, national or international funding programmes), which will make it possible to diversify the types of cooperation and mobility formats for students and staff. The institution's strategy is part of an approach that involves the entire university community, in order to raise awareness of all forms of European and international experience.
