Objectives

As part of FERRANDI Paris' Bachelor F&B and Hotel Management programme, a three-year course leading to a level II diploma approved by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Innovation, our students must complete a compulsory 5 to 6 month internship abroad in an English-speaking country, or in a country where the working language is English. Our 2021 project foresaw 43 internship mobilities and 7 study mobilities: we selected 53 candidates from over 100 students involved in this programme. There were 24 Young women and 29 young men (internship and Study mobilities) aged between 19 and 24, 12 went to Belgium, 9 to the Netherlands , 8 to Spain (2 study mobilities), 5 to Sweden, 3 to Germany, 3 to Greece, 3 to Italy, 2 to Ireland, 2 to Norway 2 to Luxembourg, 2 to Finland (Study mobility), 1 to Denmark, 1 to Malta and 1 to Switzerland. The internship, which is part of the FERRANDI Paris training programme, is mainly aimed at ensuring the practical application of the courses given at the school. It allows students to develop their knowledge in a professional context. The main objective of the internship is to give students the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills taught at the school. It is an essential immersion.
