Rennes 2 University offers courses in the arts, literature, languages, humanities, social sciences and sports sciences which are linked to 19 research units. It has 21,000 students, 13% of whom are international, 63% are female, and 40% receive government grants. Rennes 2 University fulfills its public service mission through numerous commitments included in its 2022 – 2027 institutional strategic plan in line with the horizontal priorities of the Erasmus+ program and the sectoral priorities of European Higher Education. Diversity, inclusion and gender equality are clearly identified as priority areas that can be found in the implementation of its strategy. Digital transitions and environmental issues require increased and lasting investments in education, research and innovation in close cooperation with the stakeholders concerned. The University’s Declaration of European and International Strategy highlighted the objective of making the university’s international activities more visible. Putting the new Erasmus + programme into operation has entailed a necessary change in mobility management procedures.
