Objectives

In order to implement the Erasmus + activities selected in its Erasmus + strategy statement for the 2021-27 ECHE, the Université de Corse Pascal Paoli has applied to the 2021 KA 131 call for projects to propose mobility actions for learning purposes for higher education community. This approach is also intended to be a natural continuation of the mobility actions undertaken during the previous Erasmus programme periods. To date, the University of Corsica has 123 Erasmus + inter-institutional agreements negotiated with 68 partner universities located in 13 European Union countries. Its main partner countries are Italy, Spain, Romania and Belgium. These partnerships reflect an institutional commitment that has been in place for a number of years to develop mobility towards countries first in the northern Mediterranean basin, then the French-speaking world and finally island territories. Since 2020, the University of Corsica's governing body has been keen to develop exchanges between the Corsican university community and Italy, and to this end has appointed a Mission Head specifically dedicated to Italy. The number of exchanges to Italy as part of this project is significant (36.58%).
