Objectives

By implementing the JoInME project, our primary objective was to support higher education teachers in delivering quality education and training to students despite the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and global economic challenges. We aim to offer a joint, intercultural, and multidisciplinary training program on entrepreneurship in the field of AI for Industry 5.0, to equip students with essential skills and knowledge for a post-pandemic future. Our goal is to provide students with the necessary skills to succeed in a rapidly evolving professional environment and contribute to the creation of a sustainable future.

Background

We applied for the JoInME project in response to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic in the education and employment sectors. The disruption of traditional courses and educational flows necessitated a rapid adaptation to digital formats, while industries were affected, reducing employment opportunities for graduates. Additionally, travel restrictions hindered international cooperation and concrete partnerships. Our primary objective was to address these challenges by equipping higher education teachers and students with a resilient entrepreneurship training program, focused on AI for Industry 5.0. By offering relevant and up-to-date education, we aim to prepare students for a post-pandemic future, where entrepreneurial skills will be essential to ensuring their professional success and contributing to a sustainable future.
