Objectives

It aimed to offer the school community of participating schools the opportunity to develop, among teachers, educational skills in the digital field in distance education, to enable ALL students to acquire (by promoting equality for all through to content adapted to the student's difficulty) digital skills, to strengthen the school/family bond by maintaining effective communication, to arouse the interest of parents of students in school life, and to modify the behavior of the entire school community, for the benefit of the fight against global warming, making students aware that they belong to the same European community, with a multi-ethnic heritage.

Background

This project is initially part of an educational continuity project. Faced with the health situation linked to COVID-19 and the measures put in place such as confinement, closure of classes, etc., new teaching methods including distance learning had to be put in place. Teachers, students, parents then had to adapt, not without difficulty because they were unprepared. This project aimed to offer teachers training on How to teach effectively, remotely using digital technology, to give ALL students quality teaching and thus reassure parents. This project also aimed to change the behavior of school communities, in order to make them adopt eco-citizen actions to fight against global warming and to develop, among students, a feeling of belonging to the European community.
