Objectives

Our main objective was innovation through jointly developing and implementing new learning and teaching methods, developing solutions for challenging issues through the collaboration of students, teachers, firms and charities, Developing a sense of initiative and entrepreneurial mind-sets, competences and skills, developing new teaching methods and learning tools that incorporate transversal skills learning and application aimed at strengthening employability, creativity and new professional pathways, introducing wherever appropriate a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship in a given discipline and curriculum, course to provide students and teachers with the competences, skills and motivation and introducing more "student-centred approaches" with students tailor-making their own educational pathways. Our project was also aimed at developing training content for all partner school profiles both in the fields of training programms and project management.

Background

We applied for this project because we fully believe that cooperation partnerships, the opening to internationalization and innovative practices are the best ways for our students to get motivated, to give sense to what they study and to get better job opportunities. We also believe that this kind of project open wider opportunities to students with special needs and fewer opportunities. The needs we have addressed related both to our partnership and to our target groups by answering to European priorities in the fields of Education and VET training, developing internationalization and employability, leading project management activities, including the activities into the students' curriculum, giving them the opportunity to meet true professional needs such as working in a team, acquiring global professional skills and opening to European employability. Either students with special needs or fewer opportunities got he chance to learn in an innovative way and to fully take part in the project.
