The concrete objectives pursued by the partners as part of the cooperation were to 1. Raise awareness among the business start-up support ecosystem and political decision-makers of the challenges of integrating sustainable development objectives into the development of individual businesses. 2. Train CSR educators to enable entrepreneurs to integrate sustainable and responsible practices into the development of their businesses. 3. Design cross-functional tools to assess and develop sustainable and responsible practices among VET learners. 4. Develop training content on the theme of ecological transition that is accessible to all. A cross-functional objective of the project was to develop the digital skills of trainers by equipping them with the specific skills required for multimodal training.
The consortium wanted to design teaching resources relating to the Social Responsibility of Independent Entrepreneurs to train vocational training educators involved in individual business creation, so that they themselves could raise awareness and train individual entrepreneurs. In 2021, the partners had identified on the one hand that it is the balance between the economic, social and environmental dimensions that can be constitutive of sustainable entrepreneurship, and on the other hand that there was a real lack of educational resources for vocational training targeted at CSR for individual entrepreneurs. What's more, training is a powerful and necessary tool for raising awareness of the ecological transition and its economic, environmental and social impacts. The SURE project was designed to meet the training needs of business start-up trainers, so as to provide broad support for individual entrepreneurs.
