Objectives

PreNatHUB had three major objectives: 1. demonstrate how digital resources and tools can support societal issues with high stakes, and support required changes in habits 2. establish communities of interest who can dialogue with each other on the issue of prematurity in order to share experiences, knowledge and practices and co-construct shareable resources. 3. produce training content in order to share knowledge, strengthen information and awareness in the form of webinars or MOOCs. The challenge was to define the framework for setting up an interactive network as an ecosystem where participants alternate the positions of knowing and learning and where other partners could be brought together as the process progressed. dissemination of activities and results. PNH should also allow us to test how digital technologies could contribute to responding to the challenges of a key theme and to be able to model all of the responses and resources co-created with stakeholders.

Background

PreNatHUB aimed to associate the use of digital technology with the construction of a dynamic response to a social problem : in our case, prematurity. IFRASS, a training organization for social and health professions with a strong option in early childhood professions, has been developing an ODL culture for 10 years. Our partners also use platforms for exchanges between communities around prematurity, confirming that digital technology is a relevant support for building responses to a societal issue such as prematurity, an essential issue in terms of reducing infant mortality. The co-production of knowledge, as in other social or health issues, is a vector of success. The expertise of the patient and its environment contributes to improving treatment and support. In view of the knowledge of the issues of prematurity, the words of mothers, educators, families, caregivers and any professional linked to the premature child throughout his development, must be put into dialogue and perspective in order to enrich knowledge and practices. This is the concept of a hub where each of the key players is involved in the co-production of resources.
