Objectives

Why did we implement this project? The decrease in the quality of interpersonal communication points to an important problem in the age of technology, where the phenomenon of communication is getting more and more important and easier. The development of communication technologies is of course a very valuable development, but the society that has not adapted to this development process has begun to produce unqualified results in terms of the way it communicates. The concept of communication is at the center of our lives in every field, starting from the relations between states, intra-family relations, relationships in career life, and relations with the opposite gender, from the most primary relations to the most institutional relations and giving the necessary importance to this center, it is essential for all individuals, especially the youth, to gain awareness of developing their communication skills. In this direction, we wanted to implement this project in order to develop effective communication awareness that matches the content of the Erasmus Plus program and to start this awareness among young people. Objectives Achieved After Implementing the Project: We aimed to put forward works to take place on platforms where young people will correct the deficiencies and mistakes they have about communication skills. Through our project activities, we aimed to enable the young people to recognize the communication barriers they encounter in daily life and discover ways to overcome these obstacles and carry out effective studies to improve their communication skills. We wanted to present a process that would end with the participants' adaptation of what they learn in their daily lives by continuing with the dissemination and sustainability processes of awareness studies that we started with our participant group, and with this process, we aimed to reach the target audience as much as we could reach. In line with this request, we aimed to have an exemplary project that will provide social awareness and to play an encouraging role in the implementation of other projects. In line with these, our objectives were as follows: To reveal studies that will improve the communication competence of young people To raise awareness about verbal and non-verbal communication topics To contribute to young people having the equipment that will enable them to develop communication strategies and arguments appropriate to the required fields To support them to express themselves in society and to establish effective relationships with different people by using different communication methods To enable young people to adapt the knowledge of globally important communication skills to their daily life To increase the participation of young people in social and cultural activities To enable young people to develop skills to communicate with different cultures To raise awareness about using a unifying and integrative language instead of discriminatory, marginalizing, racist language To ensure that young people can think effectively on global issues and are encouraged to participate in voluntary activities.
