Racist and intolerant hate speech in public discourse is escalating among the youth in France according to a recent report by France’s National Human Rights Advisory Committee (CNCDH). For example, a controversy began on 18 January, after a French girl did a live broadcast to speak about her sexuality on her Instagram account , she was called a "dirty lesbian" by a Muslim commenter and French girl posted a hate discourse about Islam. This problem also exists in Europe. For example; a politician was convicted for burning Korans in Denmark, a German politician was criminally charged for calling migrants “scum.”, a Baptist minister was jailed overnight for preaching against homosexuality and a man was investigated for telling a Nelson Mandela joke in England. It is obvious that there is a need to tackle with hate speech against minorities in Europe. Therefore, we organized a youth exchange to create awareness among youth about hate speech and encourage them to combat with it through theater with the collaboration of five international organizations from Turkey, Greece, Spain, Romania and France who are dealing with hate speech in their communities as well as starting a new campaign against hate speech by theater methodology. The objectives of the project were as follows; *To inform participants about Hate Speech, other forms of discrimination, intolerance, freedom of expression and human rights * To inform participants about ecological footprints, the interconnections in ecosystems, environmental sustainability and how to make lifestyle choices which improved their quality of life and reduced their negative impact on the environment. * To enable participants to be informed about good practices regarding combating with Hate Speech and other forms of discrimination in partner countries, * To inform and encourage participants use theater as a tool to fight with Hate Speech and other forms of discrimination, promote cultural diversity and take an active role in their communities, * To enable participants improve their critical thinking, creative thinking, communication and problem-solving skills through theater, *To enable participants discover opportunities of the Erasmus+ and youth mobility and to encourage them to take part in other projects and cooperate in the future
