Two goals were meant to be achieved through project implementation: 1. Strenghtening TICM employees' proffessional competencies needed for digital transformation of non-formal educational programmes in TICM. 2. Adult students' training in digital skills as well as motivation for further knowledge acquirement in the field of digital transformation. TICM employees' competencies development was meant to directly improve the quality and quantity of educational programmes for everyone eager for knowledge.
Technology Innovation Centre Medimurje Ltd. (TICM) is an entrepreneurial incubator which offers advisory, educational and structural support to existing and new entrepreneurs, their employees and other target groups which are in need of TICM's services for professional development. We are a key organisation for lifelong education in Međimurje county, with more than 20 educational programmes a year taught by TICM employees as well as business and public sector experts. Coronavirus pandemic has greatly influenced the way programmes are organised and it is now clear that organisations have to be prepared to adapt their programmes and give the adult students the possibility to participate in both physical and virtual ones. The only way that is possible is with an all-round preparation of educators and knowing how to navigate virtual classroom principles. Most TICM employees are experts in economic fields, but they lack knowledge in advanced IT skills. Taking part in mobility programmes has enabled TICM employees to attend trainings on the topic of IT tools for distance working and learning.
