We wanted to improve the quality and efficiency of teaching by acquiring and improving digital competences, raise awareness of the European dimension by encouraging intercultural cooperation and create an inclusive environment, and train and empower students for active and effective work in the social community. We also wanted to contribute to the development of personal and professional skills of the participants, dive into the culture of another country in order to awaken intercultural awareness, get acquainted with other didactic and methodological approaches. We wanted to get to know other educational systems. Develop a spirit of cooperation. Apply learned methodological aspects, new technologies in class. To enable students to critically consider possible solutions and ways of acting, to cultivate skills and traits that contribute to the development of a just society.
We are a school that encourages employees to think openly about the future and advocates a continuous process of improvement. We are actively involved in international projects through eTwinning or the Erasmus+ program through which we developed the international dimension of the school. The school conducts a series of sports activities, the Cipelcug project, Eco na(d)zor, Let's grow healthy. Since this year, we have a student association. Through the volunteer club, students do humanitarian work and are actively involved in the local community. With the possibility of a wide range of training and learning through the experiences of European countries, we respond to the needs of the school, namely the promotion of the internationalization of the institution, the opportunity to participate and be included in the European community, the digital maturity of the school, aware, active and responsible citizenship, critical consideration of possible solutions and methods of action. We focused our efforts and desire to create a school for life through this project on 3 topics: improving the digital competences of teachers and students, encouraging intercultural cooperation and an inclusive environment, active activities in the community.
