Background

Teachers are in situation where there is a little choice but to use digital technologies to provide education. The present situation confirmed the need for all our teachers to be skilled in using digital technologies effectively in their pedagogical approaches and ensure that all pupils can participate in educational process. The need of this project was based on the evaluations that are implemented each year in our school and the questionnaire that was made while preparing of the project proposal. After summarising the results, emphasis was given on the need of our staff to gain more digital competences and methods that would actively engage the pupils in the learning process. Their needs are not only to learn, but also to experience new methodologies and try to implement activities in environment out from their comfort zone. Teachers need serious preparation to use online tools and platforms and we are aware that if we want to improve the quality of education, we need better usage of digital technologies, but we also need to provide appropriate support and training to teachers. Participants have learnt how to use a range of digital tools in mastering new teaching methods and implementing them into the teaching process.
