High school Zvane Črnje has 324 students, 115 of them enrolled in the program Computer Technician (with 12 girls in that programme). The prorgamme, wich lasts 4 years, enables students to start working or continue their education. Thecurriculum does not comprise training in companies, but only exercises at school, so the students lack application of the knowledge and the skills of practical work in business environment. The educational programme enables them to work with computers as machines, they assemble, service and maintain computer hardware, upgrade additional equipment, programme, install programmes, expand the possibilities of what computers can do. The teachers in the IT sector have expressed their need to improve their competences through cooperation with the teachers from the EU, for work with gifted students. The development of international cooperation and the improvement of work trough the application of experience strengthens our team (school teachers), increases the satisfaction of teachers in their work, and thus raises the motivation and quality of acquired knowledge and skills of our students.
