Objectives

We want to introduce new curricula for optional courses in several fields in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering: drones, smart and solar houses, robotics and automation, electric and hybrid vehicles. 1. Making, programming and servicing drones, students will process the topic through the following: scientific knowledge about the functionality of elements; tin soldering technology, connecting the multirotor, burning the transmitter and receiver, calibrating the motor, installing the FPV kit; engineering- software configuration, Arduino application, multirotor programming, FPV component testing; mathematics and physics: measurement of voltage and current strength, conversion of measurement units, calculation of savings from the use of drones. 2. Designing installations for a solar house: use of programs to enter the data necessary for the creation of electrical installations, installation, configuration and programming of smart systems, budgets during design. 3. Robotics - Creation of a small project applied in industry, control of functions via smartphone, web application, application communication systems. 4. Electric vehicles - diagnostics.

Background

The most important needs of our school are additional curricula for optional and optional classes, that is, curricula that are not covered by the regular plan and program. Through additional curricula, we try to encourage students to non-formal forms of education and competences such as language competences, information technology and digital competences, the use of renewable energy sources, disposal of hazardous waste resulting from the use of energy. Every school year, we introduce a minimum of 10 hours of new content in one or two professions through new curricula, and we abandon some old content that is not applicable in modern life. The needs of our school go in the direction of implementing the curriculum in optional classes for smart solar houses, electric and solar cars, we would introduce industrial robotics and automation, servicing and programming of drones.
