Objectives

Main goal is that students acquire new vocational skills, to be more competitive in the labor market. To improve their language competencies that are necessary in the work, adopt digital skills and present digital materials of professional skills as an added value in the implementation of practice in our city and region. We also want to present ourselves to other potential students through internationalization as one of the potential choices for enrollment in our school and thus increase the quality of education of the deficient staff in our area. Modernize the final work for the profession of economist, waiter, chef through mobility, use of multilingualism and digital competencies.

Background

When planning a school development strategy regarding the needs of the labor market, but also the interest of students, it is necessary to keep the existing occupations, and the catering occupations that are deficient. Our students now lack practical work and the opportunity to decide independently in problem situations. In the case of students of economics, this is achieved through the subject Training Company, but this is still not enough for students to train entrepreneurial skills well enough. That should definitely be emphasized in the projection of school development with the goal to provide students with high quality education in accordance with occupational standards that will be updated and adapted to modern business conditions in the economy and flexible in relation to rapid changes brought by the era of informatization and modern technologies. Beside that the development of multilingualism is one of the key conditions for employment.
