By implementing this project, we wanted to increase the possibility of using modern equipment in practical classes, which is difficult here. English language improvement in both programs. English isessential in excercising both profesions. Raising the level of students' professional competence, which until now was significantly limited by the spatial and organizational possibilities of the school and the lack of adequate programs and employers for practice.
The Erasmus+ project "PEACE" made it possible for 24 students of electronics technicians and hotel and tourism technicians to carry out professional practice in Ireland in cooperation with the partner organization Martello Training Ltd. in various production and service companies according to the planned schedule of activities in the period from March 5, 2022 to March 19, 2022. In this way, the students significantly improved and increased the scope of practical classes. The students gained experience in a different working, linguistic and cultural environment. "Jure Kaštelan" secondary school has 2 general education programs, a general education grammar school and language gramm school, and 5 professional programs: electronics technician program, combined hairdressing and cosmetology program, cooking program, hotel and tourism technician program, and home installations installer program. In such a complex school, we encounter the problem in organizing classes, especially practical ones, which aggravates alreadyexsisting problems in vocational education in the Republic of Croatia. Participation in such European projects for schools from smaller communities like ours raises the level of students' motivation for vocational careers.
