Main objectives were to to empower young people to actively participate in their communities and lead the change towards a more sustainable society, specific objectives were: 1. To prepare young people with the skills and attitudes necessary to become active in their communities. 2. To raise awareness of the youngsters on one local environmental issue and encourage them to find ways for approaching environmental issues in their local communities. 3. To open youth mobility opportunities to youth facing different obstacles. 4. To prepare participants how to organize environmental education programs for youth and produce educational materials that they can share on-line. With the project we wanted to contribute to raising sense of environmental responsibility among youth and in local communities, develop attitudes and hands on experience on recognizing, researching and solving concrete environmental issues on local levels, impacting both the young people – participants, local community of where the project takes place and communities of participants back home through dissemination and imapct spreading, contributing on a higher level to a more sustainable and awawre society, able to respond to problems and challenges. By taking care of involving youth with different fewer opportunities, we wanted to contribute to a more inclusive society, providing opportunities to everyone no matter their obstacles in life and their backgrounds.
