Creactivation! is a youth exchange jointly designed by young people from Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal, Curacao and Croatia as a response to a series of difficulties they face in their daily lives. All the activities that we carried out during the exchange were carried out by them themselves, and the leaders only put them in a framework that enabled the acquisition of various knowledge and skills of the participants, which is important for their further growth and personal development. Although each of the groups faced a series of obstacles, some of which are clearly visible while some are apparently completely invisible, all activities were carried out in such a way that not a single difference could be detected, which created a safe space for each participant for research, creativity and progress. The exchange consisted of a series of activities that preceded the actual physical exchange in Croatia and which served to connect the group as well as possible and achieve all the planned goals of the project. The goals of our project were: - developing knowledge about other cultures; - acquisition and development of skills and competences promoted by the EU, such as interpersonal skills, ability to adopt new competences, cultural awareness and expression, learning as learning and multilingualism; - enable participants to participate actively, participatively in all activities - Raise awareness of cultural differences and promote intercultural learning; - Implement an activity involving the local population in order to promote cultural diversity and multiculturalism. Our exchange, designed by the participants and facilitated by the leaders, is in line with the goals of the Erasmus+ program and the goals of youth exchanges. More precisely, during the exchange, but also during the entire project, young people participated in intercultural dialogue and learned what SVE Europe is, through activities in the local community, they developed their skills and built attitudes based on similarities and respecting differences. Through the exchange of young people, we contributed to strengthening the feeling of European values and tried to influence the reduction and destruction of prejudices and stereotypes that separate us and put us in a disadvantageous position. We have enabled those who feel deprived on any basis to actively participate. Considering the diversity within the entire group of young people, we also increased awareness of cultural diversity and contributed to the feeling that cultural diversity is something very good and that it does not divide us. We conducted the exchange entirely through informal methods. We believe that we fully achieved the goal of this project, that is, regardless of their deprivations - we empowered the participants to get to know other cultures, to present their culture through its various aspects, and we practiced and became better in our skills and knowledge and abilities during the exchange and after her.
