The MAIN OBJECTIVE of this project was to encourage the learning and understanding of human rights, in order to empower youth to actively represent their rights and the rights of the others. By implementing project activities, we wanted to achieve following: - acquiring new knowledge of human rights and the skills to represent one's own and other rights; - promoting understanding and respect of cultural differences, in particular of different national, ethnic, religious, linguistic and other minorities and communities; - empowering young people for more active citizenship; - promoting democracy, development, social justice, community harmony, solidarity and friendship between people and nations; - further development of work of partner organizations focused on developing a culture of peace based on the universal values of human rights, understanding among peoples, tolerance and non-violence.
