The general goal of the project Zauzmi se - young people for the community! was to encourage young people from the area of Međimurje County to civic activism. The general goal of the project was fully achieved through the following specific goals: 1. Increase knowledge and skills in the implementation of educational activities, with an emphasis on virtual environments, tools and technologies; 2. Encourage young people to get involved in the work of local associations by implementing job shadowing and designing and independently implementing civic action and/or volunteer activities in the local community; 3. Encourage the development of social and civic competences, media and digital literacy and critical thinking among young people; 4. Improve the access, participation and success of informal learning of young people with fewer opportunities; 5. Increase the awareness of participants and others through the active participation of young people in the community and the development of a sense of European identity.
