The general and long-term goal of the FFF-M project was to create a competent teacher and mentor for employers with broad views on the profession. The goals for achieving this long-term goal were: - to systematize the competencies of teachers and mentors at employers - develop training modules for teachers and mentors at employers - create a guide through the modular training of teachers and mentors at employers - raise awareness of care for the environment, climate change - raise awareness of the importance of using biodegradable materials, waste disposal and recycling - create interactive content - develop a new digital tool for communication, monitoring and evaluation in the student/teacher/mentor triangle
The project was created as an upgrade of previous projects of schools in the FlorCert network and expansion of the network towards new partners with the general desire to standardize knowledge and skills for the profession of florist/florist. As a result of the previous project, an e-book translated into 7 languages with basic professional educational content was created. By analyzing the previous project and conducting a participant survey, we observed: 1. Great need for professional training of teachers and mentors at employers from basic to master level 2. Care of the environment from the aspect of sustainable development and the use of biodegradable materials in the cultivation and use of flowers 3. The need for better communication in the triangle of student, teacher and mentor at the employer, especially in unforeseen situations (COVID)
