By implementing the project results in classes, we enabled schools and students to carry out professional practice in the field of banking and finance, notably to students of secondary vocational schools, in order to develop their professional competencies that they will use in their professional and personal lives. At the organizational level, we enabled the schools participating in the project to gain experience in international cooperation and strengthen their abilities and achieve high-quality innovative results. The students who use these results in class got a sense of real life and work in the financial world by doing professional practice at school. Project enabled them to practice that they never had, since the protection of personal data (GDPR) in financial institutions such as banks, is something that cannot be solved in any other way, that is, banks cannot accept students for practice, nor will they ever be able to because of the confidentiality of their clients' data. Teachers can access students with up-to-date information from the world of finance and banking. We achieve better educational results - students are more motivated to learn, have greater freedom, are more creative, have a better picture of reality...
The goal of the e-SB project is to develop a digital platform for vocational schools with education programs for the profession of economist and similar programs that we will use in classes and for the implementation of students' professional practice in the field of banking and finance. In order to achieve this, we needed both intellectual and financial resources, which we received through the Erasmus+ partnership and international cooperation with project teams from Italy and Portugal. With this partnership, we have developed a teaching model that we will use mostly in the subjects Banking, Accounting and Practice Companies. We started the project after seeing the state of the educational system regarding professional economic subjects, which chronically lacks the implementation of practical classes. The previous form of teaching was uninteresting to students, i.e. they were not interested in active participation in classes that did not follow world trends, which resulted in a lower level of professional competence of students and a mismatch with the needs of employers. By implementing project results in secondary schools with education programs for the profession of economist, students will gain concrete practical knowledge.
