Objectives

We want to build a timeless yet adaptive teaching-learning environment that can be flexibly changed in accordance with current challenges. Since more and more colleagues and students will come into direct contact with the tools of digital education, within a few years - according to our plans - this form of education will fit organically into everyday teaching practice. Our goal was to use foreign experiences, develop digital competence, create equal opportunities, and meet the school image of the future with the most modern methodological procedures.

Background

Our school is a bilingual high school which was organized for the high-quality acquisition of foreign languages: English, German, Russian, Spanish and Italian. In addition to the high-quality mastery of the target languages, our important goal is for our students to get to know the culture of other people and expand their world view. With an intercultural approach, we operate as an open institution where we build and nurture relationships with other cultures. Thanks to our extensive international network, we offer our students participation in study and exchange programs abroad. In terms of teaching methods, we strive to ensure that they are suitable for the students' abilities, personality, and prior knowledge. We are convinced that in the course of our teaching and pedagogic work, we must - primarily - prepare our students for new social challenges and life. It is therefore essential that the prospective educational strategy of our school remains adaptive. We want to convey knowledge that has a positive impact on the lives of our students and thus enables them to meet the challenges of the new times both domestically and internationally.
