Objectives

Through our project, we have helped to enrich the methodological culture of our teachers, which will also help the institution's digital transition in the long term. We have enabled more and more teachers to use WEB 2.0 and social networks for pedagogical purposes, to run virtual classrooms and to integrate intercultural content in their teaching. Our school continues to plan international projects, and we have therefore set ourselves the objective of developing the language competences of our teachers. This will allow them to take a proactive role in international mobility and in the European professional work on the eTwinning platform. Their sense of European identity has been developed and concrete European content is reflected in their teaching practice. Through training, they are able to transfer good practices and experiences and disseminate the innovations we have developed in our schools and in other countries. The impact has been a comprehensive quality improvement, which has further enhanced the reputation of our school.

Background

We have been committed for years to international projects, both Erasmus+ and eTwinning, which have helped our teachers and students to be able to embrace other cultures, to learn about them and to communicate in a foreign language. The professional and linguistic training of our staff should be developed to build on our successes and achieve new results. In the long term, this project will help us to achieve at least 50% of our teachers speaking a foreign language at basic or intermediate level. The training has improved our use of ICT tools. We use the new methods in the classroom, outside the classroom and in international contacts, and we are taking part in an increasing number of professional and methodological training courses with the appropriate language skills. We would like to continue our active participation in the European Schools Network, which required quality improvement in our school, mainly through the application. Our reputation has grown noticeably and we have taken a big step towards digital switchover in our institution.
