We have to face the 21st centuries challenges and force our students and colleagues to have cross-sectional aspects. Our institution had a need for development and innovation and always looking for new motivation and inspirations. Therefore we needed to collaborate with the institutions within boarders and beyond too with the help of Erasmus. We wante to implement new approaches at our school. We want our students to get involved due to more eTwinning projects therefore we will carry out our goals regularly and make our students active. 1) Celebrating UN theme days (e.g. World Forest day, World health Day, International Cultural Diversity Day) - planning for the program together with the partner schools. 2) Making an Agenda 2030 tree in each school 3) Presentations 4) learning about and practicing recycling 5) sustainable development film festival 6) visitors from sustainable companies 7) observing one’s own consumption habits and learning about responsible consumption 8) Fashion show with recycled materials 9) workshops (e.g. tuning up old clothes) 10) recycling books We wanted to develop our students skills in science, visual arts, creative thinking and sustainable thinking with the help of the subjects Art and Design, English.
Pétervásárai Tamási Áron Primary School is a primary school with 6-14 years old students. Our main aim is the education of children according to the National Curriculum. Besides the main educational purposes there are relevant and unique program at our school. In Hungarian this is KAP which refers to Complex Basic Program. This program offers experimental learning due to the complexity of logic, art, motion,digital and life based practices moreover it is dealing with differentiation and applying interactive, creative problem solving based on the concept of learning together. For this program a professional support system is available by online and on workshops too. Our school have been renewing the school label since 2018. Sustainability is shown in new aspects with the help of this methodology. Our school has an Eco School quality label since 2018. We put a great emphasis on sustainability by the infrastructure of the building and by the school programs.
