By implementing the project we hoped to broaden our horizon, to understand foreign professional trends, to establish the love of a profession in case of our students, to improve their cultural understanding and acceptance, to help them work in smaller and larger projects. By sending the colleagues to foreign courses, we would like to develop the quality of digital education, the level of their language knowledge. To follow the values and requirements laid in the new Vocational Training Act version no. 4.
Our institution, BMSZC Egressy Gábor Két Tanítási Nyelvű Technikum is a vocational school specialised in IT, electronics and sports. It has always been essential for our institution to keep pace with the latest vocational trends and provide our students with the key competencies needed to find suitable jobs. The main purpose of this project was to offer our students and teachers the possibility to gain up-to-date knowledge and experiences abroad in a professional environment, by getting to know other cultures and working styles. Also, by visiting other countries and having an insight into good practises, we have planned to build foreign partner networks for possible future co-operations. We hope to make our students be able to choose the right career paths and inspire them to take part in more professional examinations. Also, we have decided to send our colleagues to different foreign teacher training courses to deepen their knowledge, and understanding in digital, language and other 21 century skills which they could incorporate in their lessons in the future.
