Objectives

At the institutional level, our aim is to strengthen international relations. This is why this year we have chosen two destinations for students from the two professional groups. The aim was to gain professional experience abroad through mobility activities, which will support us in developing an internationalization strategy. We also aimed to develop international partnerships with foreign companies and partner organizations abroad, which offer the possibility of joint professional projects and work placements for our students. The experience gained in international dual partnerships brings an internationalization aspect to our plans, which will later be of practical benefit to our students. We can examine the practical benefits of domestic vocational education content abroad and its competitiveness in the foreign labour market. Our specific aim was to provide our students with experiences that will increase their self-confidence, professional autonomy, and foreign language competence, thus making them more effective in the world of work or higher education.

Background

It is important for us to place our institution in the international context as well as in the domestic context. The project will enable us to compare the domestic and foreign vocational programmes in a practical context. It is essential to be familiar with international curricula and to assess how the domestic curriculum and its content differ from that of foreign institutions. One of our guiding principles is to make it easier for our students to find a job and to encourage as many as possible to continue their studies and gain further qualifications. To develop our institution at the European level, we need to encourage our students to European experience, so that our students can increase their awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries, and develop a sense of European citizenship and identity.
