Objectives

The new requirements will also focus on digital competence in vocational exams, requiring students to use it in certain parts of the exam and to create a portfolio. Therefore, we aim to improve the digital skills of current VET staff and to learn modern techniques that work well at international level. Creating a more motivating environment for both colleagues and learners, learning, mastering and transferring new modern ICT and motivational techniques, technologies and teaching good practices. Reducing early school leaving. To deepen and broaden international contacts. The implementation of work placements abroad by pupils, the development of their practical skills. The acquisition of job-seeking techniques and related soft skills, the use of modern technologies related to their profession, the familiarisation with the structure of foreign entrepreneurs and employees, the use of previously learned language structures and professional terms, the development of transversal skills. Better chances of finding a job, thanks to the experience they have gained, and an outstanding performance in professional examinations in traineeships.

Background

Our institution offers various training courses in the South-Békés Region. Every year, we determine the professions to be launched by us, taking into account the economic and labour market needs, and therefore our training structure is constantly expanding and renewing. We offer multi-sectoral training, the most prominent of which is law enforcement and hospitality industry training. Based on the enrolment experience of recent years and feedback from the labour market, the most popular occupations in our region are catering-related professions such as chef and waiter. We attach particular importance to promoting the love of the profession and the catering professions both inside and outside the institution, as well as to learning and work discipline, and to strengthening students' intrinsic motivation and experiential learning. We have worked with Polaris in the past, and our daily work is to raise awareness of the successful contribution of placements abroad to learning and career progression.
