Basically we established two goals on institutional basis and we tried to choose corresponding courses. Firstly we wanted get to know methods with which students can be motivated effectively in the classroom, they can produce better results and with which their key competences can be improved. By these key competences we meant those which are useful on the job market: digital competences, cooperation and lif-long learning. The second goal aimed the education of students with special needs. In our institution the number of students coping with soem learning disorders, learning difficulties, behavioural problems is steadily increasing year by year. Their development is organized in the school separately, in 2 hours every week for all the students wtih different problems. Our aim was to make more and more of our educators get familiar with the essence of the difficulties of students with special educational needs and to gain methods with which the key competences of speacial need students can be beveloped, the sudents can be educated inclusively, and to increase tolerancy and accaptance of all the students.
Our instituton has been autonomous since July 2020 - again, as we worked together with other schools of our city between 2012 and 2020, before this period it was an autonomous school. Our maintaner has been the maindiocese of Eger since 2012. The Jászapáti Technical School became the part of our school in 2021. We offer different types of education: we have 2 grammar classes and students can choose the specialization on military and law enforcement studies, but our main field is the education on electronics, IT and economics. Besides we take part in adult education, we organize language exam and ECDL exams. The workshops are mainly held in big factories nearby: in the factories of Bosch, Samsung and Thyssenkrupp. As we are a school specialized on IT it is highly important for us to involve the latest inventions of IT into everday teaching. The nmber of students with special needs is increasing. We educate them in an integrated way but our further aim is the inclusive education. According to the facts above, we try to develop, keep up with the epectations of the world so we have chosen our courses which can fulfil our needs.
